Friends, Holiday, SURF

Man, it's taken 3-days for me to start feeling somewhere close to normal again

I can still drink like a fish but I can't cope with the screaming hangovers anymore. Anyway, the weekend was a cracking one ..... even if I did drink far too much. The Friday started the weekend off to a messy start, with the drinking starting as soon as I arrived at the bar (about 5pm) and continuing until way past midnight. Saturday morning arrived far too early and after Lisa opened a few of her prezzies I hit the beach, drank a few coffees/cokes at Eyeball and then went for a surf ....... salt induced chundering almost followed
Soon, it was time to hit the bar again (all dressed as Grease drop-outs), then another bar ....... and another ...... and then a club. I staggered back to the cabin by about 3am
A brilliant weekend but I wish I had some money left for the rest of the month.

Friends, Holiday
Makes it look as though I'm a bit of a castle nerd at the moment but I promise that the last two castles I've seen are in fact the only castles I've visited in the last 20yrs ....... it just happens that they've both been in a matter of weeks:whistle:
Anyway, it was a great weekend with Canadian Mike, Nick and Jen ....... a spot of walking, a few beers and far too much food - although the Chinese meal on the Saturday night was great:cheers:
This weekend, it's back to Devon for a spot of surfing ..... I'll try to ignore the -3'C temperatues we're experiencing at the moment

Faff, Holiday

Yay, one more day and then it's a week off for me (apart from a bucket load of marking I need to do and having to paint the ceiling etc at home). The week will start well, as we're off to meet friends in Ross-on-Wye for a bit of fresh air and beer drinking ....... Mmmmmm, beer
This week has been a real struggle. Some personal stuff and the fact that work has been far too manic for my liking - exam marking audit
Also, I some how have managed to upset one of the guys in my surf club (the guy who runs the store/website) that we use for the club messageboard etc by adding a page/link to the site and club on facebook ....... not 100% sure what rocked the boat but he wasn't happy and I got promptly told off:cry:
Anyway, I'm now just looking forward to the day ending and going home for the week!
Oh yeh, some one has to move the Cadbury Multi-pack of chocolates away from me. They were for my class, but there was just under half a pack left (after passing some out this morning) and now I'm munching through them!
Here's to the weekend

Faff, Holiday
We charged across the river for a sneaky (slightly posh hotel) weekend away

During the 4hr drive over, we did get a tad excited when the snow started to come down but come the morning the sun was out and there wasn't a sign of the previous nights downfall. In fact, the weather for the 2-days was pretty good ...... sunshine (for some of the time) but it was bloody cold - especially on top of the castle
Harlech castle was brillaint but Portmeirion was a little forced and unreal ..... although a fun afternoon
A lamb nursery ..... stopped to take a pic on the way back home

Faff, Work, Holiday
Considering I don't go out during the week (hate having to go into work with a hand-over or lack of sleep), I've been out twice this week already. Monday night was to another gig and as Lisa was driving I was able to grab a pint or two

...... Palladium were brilliant and in a very cheesy way, Alpha Beat were cracking

Today was a really crappy day at school

(damn parents) but I'm focusing on heading to Wales and Portmeirion on Friday for the weekend ...... trying to ignore the fact the weather is turning a bit nasty, driving over will take 4hrs+ and the is the chance that the snow could close in

I'll have to ensure I put some warm kit in the car just incase we get stuck enroute

Still, even with poor weather, there is always the bar to stay warm in
