What on earth

11 Sept. O.T.

I had recently retired and therefore - really by accident - saw everything live on TV. A day never to forget!

“Visible from space, a smoke plume rises from Manhattan after two planes crashed into the towers of the World Trade Center. This photo was taken of metropolitan New York City the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, from aboard the International Space Station. "Our prayers and thoughts go out to all the people there, and everywhere else," said Station Commander Frank Culbertson of Expedition 3, after the attacks.”

I was in a large engineering works. Our power went off in the morning, and we were having an easy day fabricating, but in silence, as the music centres were dead. Then about 2.30 Gmt it came back on with an urgent lady news readers voice "The President has been taken to a safe underground bunker in Nevada, and we have news of a 3rd plane hitting the Pentagon." Everyone thought it was the end. A bit over the top for a drill, though, eh?

I never had that 'reality' click until I got interested in the expert's 911truth movement. However, we're onto masonic politics here - they love people having an interest in their disasters. Pearl Harbour or Harper's Ferry, anyone?

And Hollywood will make a few films with some famous artist playing the fireman ...
