Chile Earthquake

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Ewa Beach, Hawaii issued a tsunami warning for regions near the epicentre, and said that sea level readings indicate a tsunami was generated. It may have been destructive along coasts near the earthquake epicenter and could also have been be a threat to more distant coasts. At Valparaiso, Chile, the height of the tsunami was 1.3 m.It is still too early to get an overview of death toll and damage.
