Carbon Dioxide Storage - 2

As I mentioned in my log of Wednesday 28 September 2005 on Carbon Dioxide Storage some scientists propose capturing carbon dioxide and injecting it into the ocean to cut global warming.

Youxue Zhang, a Michigan scientist, questions the theory. It seems that liquid CO2 must be injected to a depth of as much as two miles to prevent escape. His most recent work on the subject appeared in the Oct. 1 issue of the journal Environmental Science & Technology.
