I tried to be visible to you before he came along
with both body and soul,
doing all in my power
to keep myself under control.
I laughed at your stupid jokes
both funny and not,
I remember the things you said
while others simply just forgot.
Yet you still failed to notice
everything I did,
everything I did to make you notice me,
how much I really cared about you
how in love I was with you.
While other girls are lying to others and themselves
on how they really feel about you,
I always held my head up high
This girl you seem to forget,
the one that has loved you frm day one,
is for real!
I use to think;
Let me be the girl,
that will make your heart sing,
I always tried to hide
what's really on my mind,
So i kept my love quiet with poems
as I listened to you talk
I put my feelings behind tears of crime .
You said I was just a friend and nothing more
but I wished and sometimes wish I could have been more,
The pain is and was unbearable
I couldnt take it anymore.
Looks like it doesn't matter now

because no matter what happens
