Tradition takes No-Rooz as far back as 15,000 years-before the last ice age. King Jamshid (Yima or Yama of the Indo-Iranian lore) symbolizes the transition of the Indo-Iranians from animal hunting to animal husbandry and a more settled life in human history.Seasons played a vital part then. Everything depended on the four seasons. After a sever winter, the beginning of spring was a great occasion with mother nature rising up in a green robe of colorful flowers and the cattle delivering their young. It was the dawn of abundance. Jamshid symbolizes the person/people who introduced No-Rooz celebrations.

Every house gets a thorough cleaning almost a month before. Wheat, barley, lentils, and other vegetable seeds are soaked to grow on china plates and round earthenware vessels some ten days in advance, so that the sprouts are three to four inches in height by No-Rooz

As a kid i was a dreamer, i dreamed for a day that people around the world could see my Art, i dreamed for that day to come.
As a kid i dreamed of having friend's from all over the world, I raised my head, humbled by the path before me. As a kid i was a dreamer.
I had a road with no directions,no line's,just a dark rode, i dreamed of a garden awaiting me in the end rode. As a kid i was a dreamer.
I dared and took my step's,I fell but i kept my path, along the unsettling path i saw a learned new thing's. As a kid i was a dreamer.
Along the path came god,i told him i didn't deserve this path, Smiled at me he did,telling me overcome you're fear's and dare to dream. As a kid i was a dreamer.
So i did... by the middle of that rode i realized i was no longer the kid i was, But a part of him was in me... feeding my dream's.... I couldn't see him in the mirror,but he was there along with the dreams he had. As a kid i was a dreamer.
closer i am to the garden now along with the light's i found in that misted rode, some of them being the the dream's i had as a kid. As a kid i was a dreamer.
people around the world saw my art,the day came,so did the friend's from around the world, yet still a dreamer.
