Fading Beautiful Beast's Of Persia

I'm talking about Iranian Cheetah & Persian leopard(Panthera pardus saxicolor), or Iranian leopard ,
Fading Beautiful Beast's of Asia , I dedicate this post in there Honor,
The Asiatic Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus venaticus) is now also known as the Iranian Cheetah, as the world's last few are known to survive mostly in Iran.It lives in its vast central desert in fragmented pieces of remaining suitable habitat. In recent times in the last century this once numerous and common animal was driven to extinction elsewhere in its entire former range in Southwest Asia from Arabia to India including Afghanistan; latest research shows that only 70 to 100 Asiatic Cheetahs are estimated to remain, most of them in Iran with some sightings in Pakistan. This is the result of continuous field surveys, all of which have been verified by the results of more than 12,000 nights of camera trapping inside its fragmented Iranian desert habitats during the past 10 years.

The Asiatic Cheetah and the Persian Leopard are the only remaining species of large cats in Iran today with the once common Caspian Tiger and Asiatic Lion having already been driven to extinction in the last century.

The Persian leopard (Panthera pardus saxicolor), or Iranian leopard is one of the largest of all the subspecies of leopards in the world. It can stand up to 2.5 feet tall at the shoulder, and weigh as much as 155 lbs.
The habitat of the Persian Leopard is mainly found in the Alborz and the Zagros mountain ranges. These ranges cover a vast area starting from the borders with Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia, extending to the Caspian litoral region and on to Turkmenistan and western parts of Afghanistan in the Alborz range. Along the Zagros range, leopard habitats extend to the south of Iran, close to the Persian Gulf. The habitat of the Persian Leopard may cover a wide area of Iran, but leopard populations are scattered, fragmented and threatened. Human settlements and activities are the main threats for the species.
