This story is the one I wrote in my bluest mood. I never wanted to publish it cuz it reveals parts of me I've always been afraid of: brutality, sexuality, congeniality, recklessness and reflectivity. Parts of me I never knew, not until I wrecked myself and threw me away like a piece of left-over from the party last night. I despised those parts so much that I let them out as a story.
The whole thing occurred to me when I was in England with my sister and we were on a bus on the first day. London was like another world to me; we were alone, strangers all around and that moment I crept into another skin to cope so this one just spilled out of me, the story I mean.
It is dedicated to my first girlfriend and to my sister who's always been there for me no matter what.

IWIHKY Disorder
This is one of the short stories I've published recently. It reflects the recent political issues in my country as weird as it sounds!
IWIHKY Disorder,published in cc&d(Children, Churches and Daddies) Magazine, March 2010 issue,under the Pen Name Elaheh Steinke.
I chose this publication because they are related to Scars Tv. Scars Tv is the producer of The X-Files and as an avid fan of X-Files from childhood I thought I had to publish something in Scars and here I am!
They are one of the masters in producing and executing Visual Arts and Audiobooks in The States.

falling for the second time
As my page counter says, this blog has about 140 visitors although only 4-5 of them comment me on the posts. Anyway here's the deal: My iPhone is broken down and Lymira thinks its my punishment for not telling anyone about the lyrics,stories and the novels I wrote in it. If I want to name a new Paul McCartney to the music industry, I would definitely say Ryan Tedder. He has written and produced songs and lyrics for thousands of artists that we know and adore like Leona Lewis, Backstreet Boys, Shayne Ward, t.A.T.u., Timbaland, Jennifer Hudson, Natasha Bedingfield, Whitney Houston, Westlife, Rihanna, Daughtry, Mario, DJ Tiesto, Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks and Adam Lambert. He has dominated the Pop/Rock industry by his vision of the world around him and I truely love what he always does with everything especially his own band OneRepublic.
All The Right Moves is an open Edwardian themed, masquerade ball video which is rather different from any OneRepublic video and thats why I'm posting it here. Around the bridge of the song, Ryan Tedder plays the piano while singing and he looks super-cute right there. I like the glare and brilliance in his eyes.
The song didn't make it to the top 50 of the billboard charts but I guess it desereved it.

George Clooney's Hope For Haiti Now program paid most of the bils for Haiti. The show started off with Alicia Keys performance, she sang one of the best songs of her previous album on piano which was a wise thing to do. Not because of her skin color but because of her husky strong voice and deep emotional status.

I saw this video playing in Viva channel which is not a popular channel due to its repetitive and bland choice of music but I liked it right away.
The video shows a man walking around a city and witnesses various people committing crimes. At the end he leaves us there in the street, giving the assumption that this man was an angel-like apparition. The band is also seen performing in a run-down building.
The whole set of the video reminds me of my own country and how our Utopia is turning into a live action crime scene and it's kind of sad.
I'm madly in love with the lyrics and Chris Jones's guest vocals although I know Meisam wants to kill me for saying that. Sharon is fine honey but she’s Dutch and Dutch are dumb! Chris is British, man! Common!

If you always regret not being born sooner at least you won't miss a thing by listening to The Kooks. They can be your ultimate Beatles, with the same sloppy style. A bit edgier,rockier and more sophisticated but as ugly as they were!
The time I saw them on MTV I knew they were from Sussex, with that typical hair-style and voice. The Kooks have the Indie-world at their feet; at their ultimate disposal, and what do they do? They taunt them and tease them, with some of the most technically brilliant music you'll ever come across.
With an upbeat tempo, intense acoustic guitars, a catchy chorus, this video proves to be a typical Kooks song; Full of energy and utterly magical musically.
Meisam mentioned something about Luke Pritchard (The vocalisy and my Favorite from the band) and I hadn't noticed befor: He's Missy Higgins' Doppelgänger! And did you know this: Luke Pritchard used to be Katie Melua's Boyfriend?? Katie was Ehsan's fav. RIP my beloved weird friend.

What I love about Because Of You is that if you judge by the title and the melody, you think it's going to be a soppy love song, but when you actually listen to the lyrics, it's nothing like that at all, but really angry, bitter and emotional. It's a great song to listen to when you're upset.
The song tells of how hard it is to open up and trust the person you love. How you always play it safe, too afraod to take chances. And it's amazing because it can really be translated into so many different situations.
The lyrics are beautiful. With lines such as 'I'm ashamed of my life, because it's empty', 'I find it hard to trust not only me, but everyone around me, because of you I am afraid' and 'My heart can't possibly break, when it wasn't even whole to start with.' The video is the story of Kelly's life and her struggling childhood.
Ben Moody is the composer of the song; He playes the best Guitar and Drums in the world.
Four years ago, on the same day as today, I watched this video. The fears and hopes lying beneath the song got me. So thanks for showing this to me, my Lovely.

I grew up being an Irish boy-bands fan, in the 90s boy-bands werent allowed by their managers to be open about their members sexualities. The very first boyband member who ever came out was Boyzone's vocalist Stephen Gately.
As well as being a talented musician and stage actor, he also did a lot for gay people after coming out in 1999. As a kid, my gaydar always told me that this sweet young man was something more than just a pretty face for female audience. When he came out, he came out saying he was gay and in love, normalising gay relationships as loving ones that are about more than sex.
I followed Stephen on Twitter, and knew he was finishing his children fantasy novel so when I read his last tweet again and again for 5 days,I knew something was really wrong. still busy - lots going on. Focussing on finishing my book next so may be quiet here.
He was found dead in his holiday apartment the next day.
And about the video,It's the first of its kind. The first video from a boyband in which, a gay member of the band couples with a guy.
One of my gay friends sent me a piece of letter an evangelist woman had written to The Daily Telegraph about Boyzone's video, Better. I need you guyz to read a piece of it, it's hilarious:
This video, that will be watched by millions, is sending out a deadly message to young people. It is stating that homosexuality is simply another norm. The video very cleverly interweaves softly lighted, black and white images of heterosexual couples with a homosexual couple. The message is plain and the often repeated drum beating of the homosexual lobby that says that homosexuality is a normal lifestyle.
God's perfect plan was not Adam and Steve, but Adam and Eve in a lifelong covenant of marriage where they could enjoy the good gift of sex. Homosexual desires and behaviour are a clear violation of God's law. They are inherently unnatural.
Come on crazy woman, we're in 2009; even God is being gay!
I loved Stephen and adored his courage and passion for life. So Rest In Peace Stephen. My love and hugs to his partner Andrew. So final.

I hate to be political in this blog but isn't it just true that we live inside politics and it's spin-offs? I was watching this documentary about Iran's green movement against the latest presidential election and at the end of the documentary, I found myself singing this song to myself so I decided to post the video here.
I have always been a fan of Nickelback but this one struck me in a different way. Some might consider this song to be cliche and so cannot be of deeper substance but the simplicity of it makes it more meaningful for me. I think everyone at some point in their lives has a dream about peace, unity and love. The worst thing we want to see is violence against each other. The last thing we want to feel is the loss of someone we love dearly. Nickelback's song expresses a lot of the pain life inflicts upon every one of us, some more than others.
Though, at the same time that I wish the world would treat everyone equally and save those hurting, I understand that pain is what creates courage and strength. I have always wished for perfection of life and protection of innocent children but it's logical that certain things cannot be avoided no matter how we hide. I wrote this poem not for political motives but to express my sympathy, anger and sadness toward what's happening right now for the soldiers who risk their lives for their countries and the civilians who are helpless and innocent.
The video for If Everyone Cared spotlights 4 inspired individuals - Bob Geldof, Betty Williams, Peter Benenson, and Nelson Mandela. If you don't know who all of them are, I highly suggest watching the video to educate yourself. The information is simple and straightforward as are the lyrics to If Everyone Cared. Chad Kroeger and his bandmates in Nickelback know how to reach an audience that would normally not be considered a significant part of peace movements, and that is laudable.

Well, I sort of grew up with Westlife. I grew up with their weird teenage looks, their marriages, their wrong decisions, Their UK hits and everything else and I swallowed everything they made but there's still a void inside me that doesn't let me love Westlife like they deserve to be loved, and it's Brian's departure. It's not my call to make choices for anyone but I'm a fan after all.
In 2008, in the middle of a nervous breakdown a video saved me and it was Us Against The World.
Us Against The World is a record for Westlife fans, It's an Irish styled fan track from the Back Home album and it simply reviews the 10 years of Westlife; from the moment they showed
up, to the day Brian left the band and all the way down to Croke Park. Us Against The World sums up brilliantly the last 10 years of the lads; their success, babies, weddings, families, growing up and it invites all the fans to stay strong against all the odds and barriers.
I see a strong link from this song to leona's Bleeding Love. The lyrics are powerful and contain punchs to all who have put them down of late.
I just like this video cuz it means a life-time dedication to me and if you're not a Westlife fan take my advice and just don't download it, it's not a right music video for you. -Westlife Zone, get out!-
The other thing that I need to say is that in the video all Westlife lads show up with their partners except Mark, so I just added an extra snapshot of Mark and Kevin, from my 10 Years Of Westlife: Live At Croke Park DVD documentary, from behind the scenes of the tour, when Kevin is helping Mark with his makeup. Hope that's fine with homophobics!
