I started to use opera at, i think it was version 7 or 8. I tried out the beta of 9 and was stunning. What a browser, what a community, what a gate to the world. Nowadays i am spoiled using lots of software to arrange my behavior to interact with the digital world. I have to use tons of softwares for the most different things, but this one software is about to become the most important beneath the OS. What can you expect from a Webbrowser? Should it print out or download the whole Internet or should it make you a coffee? It would be nice, but superfluous. It should connect you to the rest of the world. It schould allow you to share your emotions, experiences, and impressions with the people you like. It should let you get access to it all, where are and when you need it. Ever forgot your daddys Email address or your Girlfriends phonenumber? This is where Opera takes place. Sync your informations in any possible way. I love to sit in the train collecting informations or something and analyse them later at home. I love to set up a new operating system and install opera to see that it all is as it was before.

I have about 6 operating systems. A Laptop with ubuntu netbook remix as well as intrepid ibex and windows xp. My Pc has ubuntu-studio + XP and my home server has (had until hd-failures) ubuntu server installed.
A lot of stuff to organize and to maintenance. What a facilitation to have opera not to take away important time for unuseful things. Thank you, Opera.
