Known as the ‘pathway for revolution’ the state of New Jersey, ranks eleventh amongst the most populous states in the United States. This beautiful state is home to some of the most magnificent buildings and architecture. The legal system of NJ is also very strong and just with most cases being heard in municipal courts. The huge population of the state gives rise to a number of municipal court cases. However, most of the disputes are not even bought to the court platform. Nevertheless, there are over seven million cases registered in the courts every year, many traffic violations, which eventually end up in the hands of NJ Municipal Courts, such as Hudson, Middlesex & Union.


There are various cases, which are represented in NJ Municipal courts ranging from driving offenses, divorce, family issues, disputes related to contracts and so on. One of the major topics which calls for a legal battle in the courts is the American right to speech. Most of the trials of the various cases are held at the trials court, which is also called the superior court. Every county of the state has their own superior court to try the various cases.
