Ice on a barbed wire fence

This is very unusual and cool! 5-star!!!

noah counte 6. January 2008, 04:28

Thank you. This is probably my favorite, of all the pictures I've taken in my life. Believe it or not, I took this after a day of substitute teaching several years ago when I was in the middle of a career change. The fence ran across the back of the school parking lot. I look at it, and I still wonder what on earth they were thinking, making kids ride buses on roads covered in ice.

momable 6. January 2008, 05:36

That is a mighty dangerous fence to be near a school!

Yes, bus drivers go no matter what the roads are like. Some of them are pretty nasty, too!

It would probably be worse to have no fence - the field is full of cattle.

momable 8. January 2008, 08:40

Yes, a moooing experience.

U r so funny ^^ in Russia we've got lots of Icicles on roofs, bridges...everywhere...and i don't think tht they r really dangerous)

Bt the pic is really FUCKINGLY)) amasing xDD

noah counte 29. May 2008, 23:12

In the US, we try to teach kids to stay off the barbed wire fences early. This is a cow town, so the kids all wear leather chaps.

We get a lot of icicles in this part of the US, but it's usually due to melting snow, not ice storms. Icicles sometimes fall off of tall building and injure people. So I hear, anyway.

Thank you for stopping by, KSUn14ka!
