There is online help for us. Of course, exercise is necessary, but a small first step is becoming more aware of what we're putting into our bodies. Here are some sites that can help:
-
Fitday.com is a free online journal that lets you keep track of daily calorie counts; carbs, fat and protein; weight loss and your goals; nutrition information for many foods, diet analysis and more.
-
Foodsel.com gives you nutritional information categorized by manufacturer, food group or particular nutrient. You can find a lot of nutrition information at Nutritiondata.com, too.
- You can check the calories of thousands of foods at caloriecounter.com. And just in case you don't know what a 300 calorie meal looks like, you can have a look to compare that pile on your plate to an actual 300 calorie meal at DietBlog.com.

I am health-conscious gal!!!! But have friends that I know, would benefit from any information...not coming from me..hehe!!!
Hey Matthew, I posted on my dentist experience. A past one, and I wouldn't have, but I stopped here first and saw Death Dentist and the memories kind of..CHOKED ME!!!!!
Seriously, I needed to remember and by sharing it, maybe it will help others to better protect themselves when they are in such a vulnerable state.
Peace my Friend...Jillee

Did you read the post...come on, it's not that scary!!!
And hey, it's the reason I started blogging!! To TALK!!! AND listen!!
And I'm happy you've had good experiences with dentists. Most people have. I happened to have a horror story behind one of my experiences.
But, I did place a WARNING on the post title, as I personally would pass over it, if I saw it..hehe:yes:
Hey, stay cool Matthew!!
