In Memory of Cajunlayde
Tuesday, 13. January 2009, 03:57:39
We met in a message board in 2001, and followed each other from place to place since then. Caj was my longest standing friend on the internet. She propped me up during the worst parts of my life, and I will miss her terribly. I know she's in a better place, and I wish her all the peace she didn't find while she shared time with us.

Very sorry ,and I mean it from the heart

She was generous of her time, and would give you the shirt off her back. She didn't suffer fools gladly, though, and would spring to the defense of anyone who was being mistreated.
She had a lot of online friends, and she'll be missed by many.

I wish her sons long lives to remember her.
Families are never ready for a loss.

Daughter-In-Law # 13. January 2009, 15:09
This is Cajunlayde's daughter-in-law, the one in Florida.
I was honored to stand by her, with her son, and hold her hand as she passed.
Though her family is deeply saddened by her loss the men that Cajunlayde raised are a tribute to her with their strength, their dignity and their resolve to ensure her wishes were met.
Her sons are men of character and value, and it is preceisely at this time her family did NOT fall apart.
In separate states and in their own ways, they grieve together.
Please continue to pay tribute to Cajunlayde knowing that her family was by her side both physically and spiritually; united in love and loss.
Thank you.

It's ironic that you swore off the internets, and now you're out from under your rock. That's reverse psychology, or something!

She thought the world of you. She really cherished your friendship. You were both blessed to have had eachother in your lives.
I will never forget her. My prayers will be for all who loved her, and for the strength to live in this world without her. One life touches so many.
She will live on in our hearts...forever.
