Governor Palin of Alaska promises lower gas prices for Americans, if we'd just spend some money in her state hiring Alaskans to get oil out of the ground and to build a pipeline - 30 billion (with a "B") of our dollars. She's against earmarks, but she's all for spending more of your tax dollars in her state. Nevermind that Alaska already gets twice as much federal funding (your tax dollars) as the next state, and 10-15 times more than most of the rest of our states. But that's another story...
