randomness, news
Well, it's July someteeth and that means it's time for what have become, to my embarrassment, monthly posts. There seems to be a lot more nakedness and debauchery in this post than I am usually given to sharing. I don't know if that speaks to my state of mind or to the recent contents of the news.
Without further ado (and wit hthe hope that all the links are good - I read 'em before I posted 'em):
- With Amir so close to the center of what's going on in Iran, I found this Fatwa against the Supreme Leader most interesting. I hope things settle out soon, and that women in particular, and people in general are permitted to experience more freedoms, and a better standard of living.

Thanks for being patient. I've been preoccupied, and
randomania hasn't been foremost on my list of things to do. However, I've made a gallant effort today.

H00ray! It's not the most information-rich list ever, but there are some gems. I'd have doubled the length, but I became tired. Have fun!

Here's another list! I hope you find something worth reading or downloading here.

I use CSS to create space between items in the lists I use in Randomania posts. As you can see, there is no space betwen items in this list. The CSS is identical to that used in
my last post, which does have space between list items. I'll trouble shoot later, but if you read before I figure out why there's a problem, I'm sorry it's all so scrunched together.

randomness, Holiday
Happy Fourth of July to all you US Patriots out there. Southern Indiana is suffering though a holiday reminiscent of the ones I spent in Western Washington. We had a joke about summer arriving on the 5
th, as it was always cold and rainy on the Fourth.
Here in south central Indiana, our average high temperature this time of year is somewhere in the mid-80s. Today, we’re experiencing the mid-60s today. And it’s wet. I don’t know whether to think of it as a refreshing change from the usual heat, or to start looking for some trazodone to combat depression, and let me sleep through this gray, bleak, damp, cold flashback… Who wants to party?

This kind of post used to be a regular feature, and I hope to get back to it with more regularity. I know I sound like a broken record, but I've been pretty danged busy lately. Tonight, though, I drank too much iced tea, too late. Although I thought I was going to fall over at 10PM, once I laid down I found that I couldn't sleep. This post, then, is the product of a caffiene driven rush to exhaust myself (and deplete the tea reserves that are fueling me).
Without further ado, today's list:
