Gold

Gold will never be my colour. Alright, it's warm and light and all that, but people make such a fuss about gold... It's something for rich show-offs or people who want to be rich show-offs. Gold is too important, too expensive and too glamorous and shiny to be liked by me.
The biggest mistake someone ever made with it was, in my opinion, to invent a golden dragon. A golden dragon? I love dragons, but they are reptiles after all. Their scales can have many colours, alright, but they should be decent. Like, you know, green or a silvery blue or something. There could be warmth and light in those colours, too. They can shine with the right lighting. They are just not as extravagant. Even a goldfish is more orange than golden! I can't imagine what a golden dragon would look like, it's simply too wrong...
But still, nevertheless... all I can think of is a golden dragon. He always sparkles at me from somewhere in my mind.
