Nicolaki, they seem so tiny!!! of course a tiny balcony is better that no balcony at all...

Dacotah 27. November 2008, 01:32

I was thinking the same thing Angeliki.

the "inspector" in me sees also the giant crack on the top floor...that is an indication that the ground is shifting backwards...the no drain on the balconies, that means flies and mosquitoes in the summer..
aluminum rail on the first balcony loose waiting one strong wind to injure the first passing by......
:lol now you know what I do all day long !

DBabbit 27. November 2008, 05:49

Where are the supports for those balconies? :eyes:

ellinidata 27. November 2008, 06:15

nope! but because they are so small the floor extension will handle the weight, just don't have 5-10 teenagers there, it will collapse in no time :eyes:
If I had to inspect a place like this , it wouldn't pass approval, and I would have had to issue fines .

I am not an inspector - but my first thought was: They're all empty and doors are closed. Maximum one person per balcony. I saw alienation and loneliness in this photograph.

cakkleberrylane 27. November 2008, 13:11

Alienation and loneliness and a shutting out of others.

Hey guys. What a lot of comments. Good eyes you all have

It´s a house with very small and poor flats. It expires a tobacco yellow sadness :frown: People in big coats and pale faces come out of there with their yellow discount plastic bags. Ready to get the days portion of beer.
The balconies are most often used to cool cases of beer in the winther and in the summer they´re using them as dog yards :left: In the summer it´s a tower of barkin´ balconies :D

ricewood 27. November 2008, 14:55

A tower of barking balconies - what a tragic, yet comic, thought.

nopanic 27. November 2008, 14:58

Yes. I often cope with things that way. I don´t want to get numb :frown:

ricewood 27. November 2008, 15:01

Yes! Let that be the last thing in the world to happen

nopanic 27. November 2008, 16:32

Yes...sure Allan. I´ve become more "nøgtern" with age. I´m not sure what the english word is?

ricewood 27. November 2008, 16:36

Level-headed?

nopanic 27. November 2008, 16:43

Hmm..feels right when you say it. Good rythm p:

ricewood 27. November 2008, 16:44

I heard someone say that sometime.

nopanic 27. November 2008, 22:08

Ok...level-headed it is, thankyou

DBabbit 29. November 2008, 03:32

nøgter means sobering or thoughtful in English. I could deal with beer coolers - not too sure about barking balconies though.

How expressive just some balconies can be.

Lovely shot, nonetheless.

Poor doggies!

nopanic 7. December 2008, 23:53

I agree Elly. The most odd things can be expressive..even this column of woofs :D

momable 11. December 2008, 06:54

nopanic 11. December 2008, 12:31

:D

DBabbit 15. December 2008, 23:55

 A roomful of woofs is better than a balconey of them! And speaking of - Binky has been going nuts for the past hour, and finally wore himself out. It's pitch black outside and the man that rents our farmland is out on his cotton harvester in the field just outside the house.

nopanic 16. December 2008, 13:30

 :D
