Nicolas Borgsmidt 22. May 2009, 12:36

What does that mean Jill, something with stars

scott cumming 23. May 2009, 18:52

i don't know there is something ominous... sinister about it. it's a great photo for sure. maybe i should never have seen alfred hitchcock's "the birds"

Nicolas Borgsmidt 23. May 2009, 19:00

Hehe  The Crows and the Seaguls of Elsinore are very dominant. There´s a lot of food trash from the ferries and leftovers from the fishing boats. They´re well fed and very strong. They Sit, shit and scream where ever they want :left: I´ve been attacked by crows, swans and seaguls from time to time. Usually when I get to close to their nests. Parenthood is powerful stuff :D

Nicolas Borgsmidt 23. May 2009, 19:04

BTW Scott. It was my meaning to make the bird move away from the carrage, but I had to get the picture first p: Afterwards I used my flash to scare it away

scott cumming 23. May 2009, 19:28

good idea because guano can cause spinal meningitis. :sherlock:

Nicolas Borgsmidt 23. May 2009, 19:46

I know that! We were warned about that, when I was a carpenter, restoring loft rooms. There was a lot of pigeon guano such places :eyes:

San 23. May 2009, 19:56

Looks like something from a Hitchcock film.

scott cumming 23. May 2009, 20:03

nic,
i knew it first hand, also from a carpenter i hired once. he was sanding some beams (not on my watch), where the pigeons hung out and guano was all over them. no mask. he got very sick and was never the same again mentally. he could still manage some carpentry but not like he used to.

so watch out everybody for bird shit. !!

Nicolas Borgsmidt 23. May 2009, 21:14

@ San
So did Scott

@ Scott
Gruesome Guano!! :insane:

San 24. May 2009, 00:14

Whoops, I didn't read the previous comments!

Nicolas Borgsmidt 24. May 2009, 11:16

Come on San, don´t worry. You´ve had a lot to think about. BTW I do it meself, all the time  :D

San 24. May 2009, 16:35

It also looks like the buggy from Rosemary's Baby. :right:

Nicolas Borgsmidt 24. May 2009, 20:57

 Yes!
It has become a fusion between Hitchcocks "The Birds" and Polanskis "Rosemarys Baby" p:

stellar: b: outstanding

I never sensed anything sinister about it, didn't know it was a crow-- but the ravens and Elijah, well, there's a great story about crows! I wrote a song including that story.

Scott's comment reminds me that last year at my mom's house I looked up at the sound of geese and plop!, one pooped and hit my face-- it was SO GROSS!

Nicolas Borgsmidt 30. May 2009, 09:34

Stellar....wonderful word Jill.

Do you post the lyrics from your song? I would like to see/hear!

I my country it eans great luck if a pigeon shits on you  But gross it is :yuck:

studio41 31. May 2009, 08:37

well... this was no pigeon, it was a big honkin' goose-- does that count?!

I haven't recorded this particular one, but it is a favourite of mine-- when I do I'll send the words to you. My recorded songs can be heard on jillriter.com you just have to link over... then if you like, I can send those lyrics to you.
