He saw you, Nik :eyes:

nopanic 8. August 2009, 19:15

Yes he did! :left:
Only when I got home to edit the catch of the day i saw the direct stare :insane:
It´s due to i often take pics in series with very quick shutter time. The reason for that is because I sometimes sense the rising of an interesting situation or scenery. The pic I want is often in the middle of the series. When I have a fixed position I just concentrate on much shooting and less observing.

I am waiting kind of a guy when it comes to make a photograph. Rarely using that option with several shots (bursts?). I put myself in a position, wait and.... voila, I miss it completely

Stardancer 8. August 2009, 19:42

Nice shot.

@ Darko
 It took me very long time to learn to be at the right place at the right time. But I found out a very important thing. I don´t think when I hunt down images/situations/locations/sceneries. I think until I´m in position, after that I just sense. Trying to be one with the surroundings. Become invisible

@ Star
Thanks Star

nopanic 8. August 2009, 22:43

Thanks Carol. One day I might camp 24 hours at the Central station in Copenhagen. So many pictures to take. Always something happening there

Dacotah 8. August 2009, 22:44

You are welcome Nic. Good idea, hope you get lots of photos to post.

nopanic 8. August 2009, 22:49

There´s a chance for that. I mean, I don´t paint now so I have lots of time to sniff around with the camera

Dacotah 9. August 2009, 02:14

I'm sorry Nic, why don't you paint?

sanshan 9. August 2009, 02:40

That's a very cool photo, and that's all I have to say! :D

momable 9. August 2009, 05:41

I think I would be surprised to find someone taking a photo of me from under stairs, too. lol

Great composition, Nick.

ricewood 9. August 2009, 06:11

Good idea.

@ Carol
I´m taking a break Carol. I don´t feel for it at the moment!

@ San
Thanks a lot San! :D

@ Elly
I guess you´re right Elly. Thanks!

@ Allan
Thanks Allan. It´s where I sit and wait for the train home from work..under the stairs. Every time I have to wait more than 5 minutes for something, there´s always a picture somewhere. It´s always on my mind. "where´s the pic, where´s the pic" :D

ricewood 9. August 2009, 09:13

A kindred spirit you are

Dacotah 9. August 2009, 11:19

I'm sorry to hear that Nic. Well it's good sometimes to take a break. Your photos are great too.

SittingFox 9. August 2009, 12:05

His expression speaks louder than words, but great shot anyway!

nopanic 9. August 2009, 18:18

@ Allan
Yes, I know that you know what I mean, when I say what I say about Art, photography and being present

@ Carol
I like the break. It has been quite a long relaxing period now

@ Adele
It´s not very often I´m caught in the act, but this time you´re right. I had a whole series of ppl walking up the stairs and he was the only one that actually looked right at me through the open space between the steps. I wonder why I didn´t see it while I was at the location. It was when I got home I saw it
Thanks
