Actually they were slowing down, because a boat outside the picture was about to cross. Look at the parents looking to one side, as if they were crossing a road. Much attention in order to take care of the little ones

Thanks muse. The parents are less protective now. The young ones race along the harbour, training flying and landing. They havn´t left the inner harbour yet though
