It´s never too late to live in the present

On the road again

SCREEEEEEEEEECH...had to stop the old iron horse to take this pic. It´s the end of the world! Never know what´s around the next corner.
My bike is in top shape now. It´s got new ball bearings, greased axels, tightened cycle chain, and adjusted the gears...it goes like a dream now. I´m on the roads again exploring my world. It´s too hot and too much light outside, to stay inside to paint. Have to move that activity to late in the evenings. The panniers are stuffed with camera, supplies, coffee, drawing pad, writing tools, rain clothes...you name it...I`M FREE

Sudden fog

,

I´ve seen the fog. Observed it from the hills in my town. Many times

It comes rolling in from the sea, like a horizontal spinning brush, in a carwash.
The photo above s from an occasion like that.
I´ve wished for some time, to be present down town when the fog leaves the sealine and presses itself inland towards the streets.
Last weekend I was lucky, for the first time ever, to be present, in the exact moment when the fog hit the city.

When the low cloud left the sea, it rose to a white wall with a tremendous hight. See how clear the fore ground still is

Kronborg castle was the first building to be attacked

And later on there was long cloud snakes in the streets.
It was amasing to see this. It happened inside a few minutes. It has never been possible to run from the hills and downtown, in order to catch the first attack. You have to be down there from the start. I´m glad I was.

Wedding photographer

Caught this photographer and the couple at the beach

Lazy, quiet, sunday waters

Random shots on a fine springday

Thatched roof under construction. Very much used in my country, on the north coast. This is a restored fishermans cabin

Hornbaek beach. App 10 kilometres from where I live. Very low waters today. Makes the beach enormously broad

A lot of driftwood hit the coast a month ago from a sunken ship. Most of it has been taken now, but these boards along the pier must be too hard to collect :D

Top of special hospital, behind sand dune

The water was extremely clear. It always is when the stream is strong

Some kids might have made this bridge, my friend Rune is trying to cross. (he didn´t get his feet wet)

Sand Dune Area.

Copper tower of special hospital

fold-up bicycle. Most often used by ppl with small boats in the harbour. Going on shore, they unfold the bike and moves around like this

Kite Surfing

What do one do, when It´s not allowed, using a sail for windsurfing?
Well, use a kite! :D

Took this pic at my favorite beach, in my hometown Elsinore. It was very windy today so the speed the surfers obtained was enormous. yeeehaaa :D

Kids

I was at a school in Copenhagen yesterday, photo covering a meeting for my work. While I was there I took some pic´s of these wonderful kiddoes :D

Two days of spring

The day before yesterday

Yesterday :eyes:

Views from my kitchen window

Morning train

I take the coast train every morning to get to my work. It´s app. a one hour trip. Like any regular pendler, I have my rutines. Since Elsinore station is the beginning of the route. I can choose any seat I want.

This peticular morning, a couple of days ago, It was very foggy. This shot is taken from the pedestrian bridge. I have to use the bridge in order to get to the right track. From the bridge you can overlook the ferry harbour. I often stand on the bridge and take pictures or just plilosophate about life:D. But this morning I was in a hurry. And I have this crazy rule..that I have to run up the stairs, run over the bridge and run down the stairs to the right track:rolleyes:..I´m never in a hurry...just like to do it:lol:

Before the running I pic up three papers from the free racks. The papers are Metro, Urban and 24 Timer (24 Hours)

This is my seat! The same seat every day. Right at the waggon wall in the window corner! I put my bags on the metal shelf over the window and put my jacket on the hook by the window. I sit down and read the TV programme in the paper 24 Timer in order to see if I have to be home to watch some interesting debates or culturalprogrammes or if the film of the century suddenly is on for the night:) The I skim the papers for interesting articles..normaly it only takes a couple of minutes. Then I sleep until the train ticket controller wakes me up with a gentle push:) After that I sleep until the train reach The big city of Copenhagen. I like the way I slide into my train sleep. The gentle crackle of newspapers around me and the low comforting talks between the other passengers makes me so calm.
I love my seat and i love the one hour sleep on the tracks.

She shines so bright

She shines so bright
in my night
Though far away
My soul marks her stay

...She´s on the other side of the planet, still she´s everywhere.
Here I´m restoring my appartment. I float from room to room..she is with me..inside me, in the walls, in the floors..

I love her.
