My new piano

I´ve bought a brand new digital piano love It´s a Casio PX 730. It took me two hours to get my "frozen" fingers warmed up to the old standard. Hmm..still feel a little rusty. BUT I´ve got a good feeling about the project.
Playing music is such a good supplement to my painting, wich is going very well, by the way p, and a good way to tune in on my inner "creative room". For me it´s as good as meditation. Many times when I´ve tried to cool down by meditation, things have gone worse, because of an infernal inner noise, and it´s NOT the tinnitus. My tinnitus is under control, and I had been able to practice meditation along with the "ear-sirene", but my thoughts was like shouted out LOUD!!, so it was impossible to control breathing and pulse! sad .
But When I play the piano .. jamming wise...no notes..just an open mind..I go down down down to deeper meditative areas up .
To support the feeling I have a synthesizer too. It´s very old, but it´ll have to do until the end of next year. Then I´ll probably buy another happy But soon when I´m into the piano work again i´ll supply with the synth as I did in the old days! bigsmile

JAN JOHANSSON

A Swedish jazz pianist and composer
The Swedish jazz pianist Jan Johansson wrote some of the most beautiful jazz ballads to be found. He had his own personal style, this simple, subdued, melodious and atmospheric tone that made its mark on the Scandinavian jazz.

He was one of Europe's greatest jazz pianists of his life, which unfortunately was too short. He died as 37-year-old in a car accident in 1968.

When these tones echoes in my soul when I paint, I know I´m on the right track

"So What" is the first track on the 1959 Miles Davis and John Coltrane album "Kind of Blue", and is often credited as one of his best works.
