Great story Mickey. Did you now that the danish fairy tale writer H.C Andersen wrot a very scary story about the Shadow. It´s pre Freudian in time but definately not in contence:)

hmmm.. I do rememebr reading some thing called the shadow I do not recollect if it was by H C Anderson.. though

is it the same one where a wise man is always side tracked by his very won shadow?? And where the shadow enslaves the man and the man feels owned by his very won shadow... the tryst between illusion and reality...

Hmmm....
In my cuture (Asia Culture) shadow is not something that's out of you, but it's something that's inside you. It can reflect your real personality and your physical body. And the shadow always goes along with your physical body. If it goes alone, it means that you are death.
Otherwise, if someone doesn't have shadow, it means he is not a real person. That's just a moving physical body and nothing else....empty inside.

OK, what I've said is just something that I've heard from my neighbor, my grandpa,etc.... Actually, I dont agree with them too much. How about you??

And from my own opinion, Shadow is just a physic phenomenon which occurs when the light cant reach to the surface that's behind some objects or covered be some objects.
That's what I've learnt in my Physics lesson.
