Summer shots

I´m on the bike a lot now. Took these shots today on the way home from work.
A lot of new buildings are popping up in Copenhagen. The special architecture looks good in the sunlight :smile:

Thanks Lois. Yes..and there´s a lot of Canals in Copenhagen. It´s so funny that so many big city urban ppl have boats! :D

It´s totally new quaters Darko...shops appartments...everything. A huge amount of ppl moved in at the same time!

They are at work. You have to earn a lot in order to live there. Which means that you work most of the time :lol:

That is interesting to see how the architecture is changing. This certainly is the era of tall shiny glass buildings!

Yes Adele. That´s because it´s more and more common to use light steel sceletons and inside cross steel wirering, in stead of massive concrete walls with bricks as a shell wall. The sceleton is carrying the whole building, which means that the facades doesn´t have to carry much anymore. That allows the architechtsto play much more with glass and thin steel and wood structures. The facades has simply become climate screens and not a carrying element:)
