I first read about blog action day in Scott's blog (I_ ArtMan), and was amazed by the speach of the young girl in the video that he shows us. Everyone should take a look. Well, I think that blog action day was yesterday, but I will contribute anyway.

Blog action day is about climate changes, poverty and about saving our planet. Some people do take action, like this man in Bangladesh. They're about to loose their country to the water. All of it caused by climate changes.

What a fantastic idea! It makes so much good sense. I hope he succeeds in getting funding.

To prevent poverty is importent. To morrow (sunday 18th) is the day of the norwegian TV-action. People give mony to a good cause. This year the give money to the organization CARE, that helps poor women get independent, and able to support their familys. I really will support CARE. They do a good job.

CARE is an organization that I'm going to support tomorrow too. They focus on the women because they spend the money more wisely than men do.

I posted one last year on how rich Ethiopia is.
Many people don't realise Addis Ababa would put many other cities to shame around the World.
Yet they don't look after their peasants.

53north - I'm not surprised. I once saw on tv how incredibly rich a few people in Bangladesh actually were.
