This...Is... ROME!!!

, ,

Wait, that's not the right line, is it? High Voltage, praised creator of long-awaited "The Conduit", unveiled yesterday their new game: Gladiator A.D.

The game is an arena-style fighter, set in Rome, and having the player star as a brutal Gladiator who seeks to fight and kill mostly everyone he comes in contact with. The game, according to their creators, was inspired by 2006's film, 300.

Of course, this is a 'mature' title, and will feature the Quantum 3 engine, which has already made The Conduit look amazing. What they claim, this time around, is that the engine has been improved and will make Gladiator A.D. look even better than The Conduit! Of course, they had a little help by setting the fights in smaller environments than they have in The Conduit, as well as having fewer on-screen characters, which allows them to push the graphics a little further and with greater detail.

The game is set to release next year (First Quarter). But don't worry, High Voltage has stated that although this game will be playable at E3, it is NOT the only game they'll have. They still have one more game to reveal on E3. Can't wait.
