With the day the connection between different people by the net expose progressively increase; however, there is no method detecting who is homosexual—even though some guys have impressing individual characters, but still, people cannot certainly indicate that he or she is homosexual. It is unusually to see a person hate a strange without talking to or even beholding them. Therefore, this phenomenon is really an interesting question about why many of the heterosexual is inclined to repel the homosexual without any contact to them. And the follows are some analysis about the popular attitude toward to the minority in this society.

A man said that when in adolescence, how eager for him wishing whomever told him,
“You are right, kid. You can grow up to be a doctor or a teacher just like anyone else. You are not crazy or sick or evil, you can succeed and be happy and find peace with friends—all kinds of friends—who do not give a damn who you go to bed with. Most of all, you can love and be loved, without hating yourself for it” (qtd. in Bull p.187).
The gay man early feels that he had been guilty because he loves the wrong gender conflicting to the traditional way—the so-called opposite-sex-attracting. Nonetheless, it is not that truth, everyone has his or her own freedom for loving—and should be neither condemned, inhibited or even suffer penalty by religion nor the society. Many people—especially men—fear gays may “molest” them when distracted. This problem is undeniable probably happening; but again, it is the same worrying problem the women have met—even the news about rape between opposite sex happens frequently nowadays.

Also, it is noticeable today now: many people oppose the same-sex marriage. The most popular argument for them opposing is querying about the growing environment is abnormal (Robinson). It is controversial about what are the normal marriage and the meaning of marriage. Some people may think that it is important as a result of it involves the problem of marriage. Again, why do some couples choose to marry whereas others do not (Badgett p.20)? Couples may decide to marry, and then, marriage matches their intentions about children and their beliefs about commitment and interdependence without conflicting with their beliefs about gender roles and the likely stable of their relationship (Badgett p.22). Thus, if the function of marriage just provide the people certain interdependence and somehow stable, it should be also apply to the same-sex marriage. Furthermore, the portion of divorce in opposite-gender couple is much higher than the same-sax couple (Robinson). An old Chinese saying is, “the thing we got more painstaking, the thing we cherish more.” It’s hard to find partner for gay, and it may increase the comparable stability within the gay marriage. It’s seems no reason for straight despise gay couple as the result of gay understand more with regard to how valuable the love is.

When someone acts or when something is described as so gay, always, or even usually, to anything remotely associated with same-sex sexuality, it will lead to isolate them who have not so strong masculinity (Savin p.5). The masculinity nowadays is controversial. A man’s behaviors or appearance can’t symbolize whether he is conscientious or not, and vice versa. The exactly determine the worth for living is the quantity of individual contributing toward the society—a general knowledge that teachers have told in elementary. Behaviors in men’s whole lifespan are required; compared to the sexual orientation is inborn, which may affect people’s orientation, but not all homosexual men show extremely feminine behavior as young boys (Swidey). Inasmuch as the sexual orientation is inborn—the majorly molecular technique nowadays indicate this evidence—, it is unfair for straight attack the civil rights for the homosexual owing to which are fundamental rights that government acts to protect citizens from the unlawful actions of others, including the government itself (qtd. in Carstensen).
The contempt against to the homosexual forming from the straight may result from the inborn doubt in mentality; become more negative concept toward gay owing to the news in television, but it’s hard to see the same occurrence contributed by straight and the news will emphasize the “gay”. And these kinds of news indirectly establish and deepen the bad impression of the gay groups to the public.

Last but not least, another major reason that triggers the heterosexual put detest against to the homosexual is somehow a kind of psychosis. Nowadays, there are two lessons to be learned here: first, some people take comfort from despising the gay community because it makes their own emotional baggage feel lighter, and secondly, It is human nature that most people need someone to look down upon so that they can feel good about themselves (Jakson, p.190). Although the gay-phobia is not the feeling that can be amended immediately, people should not attack the man who did not do any crimes just due to he is gay. The depreciations, condemns and even hostilities are all constructed on the nature phenomenon is heterosexual majority; nonetheless, it is not the time for people attacking a person who have different characteristic. After all, it is the diversity that makes the society more mercurial and flourishing.
