Auf meinem Eintagestrip nach Japan hab ich ein wundervolles Gerät im WC der Aeon Shoppingmall in Narita ausprobiert: einen Händetrockner, der die Hande wirklich in einigen Sekunden komplett trocknet, indem er mit einen sehr schnellen aber angenehmen Luftstrom auf die Hände bläst. Ich war begeistert!
Ich wünschte ich könnte diesen Händetrockner hier in Österreich haben, aber ich hab ihn hier noch nie gesehen, und ehrlicherweise war mir nicht sicher dass jemand diese tolle Erfindung in unser kleines Land bringen würde.
Und doch, nach einigen Monaten wurde ich eines besseren belehrt...

On my one-day-trip to Japan, I tried a wonderful machine in the restroom of the Aeon shopping mall in Narita: a hand dryer that really made your hands completely dry in only some seconds, blowing with a very fast but really comfortable air stream onto your hands. I was enthusiastic!
I wish I could use this hand dryer here in Austria, but I had never seen it here before, and honestly I wasn't confident that someone would bring this great invention to our small country.
And still, after some months I was disabused of my notion...

\begin{German}Etwas spät angekündigt, aber doch: mein
Narita-Eintagebuch ist endlich fertig! (D.h. Fotoalbum mit Kommentaren.) Die Fotos sind super finde ich (aber das gilt wohl auch nur, weil das mein einziger Besuch in Japan war - bis jetzt). Also bitte schaut rein und vielleicht könnt ihr mir auch helfen, den Sinn des einen oder anderen Dings auf den Fotos zu erklären...
Glücklicherweise bin ich mit einer leeren Tasche gefahren und mit einer vollen Tasche mit "Goodies" aus Japan zurückgekommen - unter anderem mit mehreren Packungen verschiedener Soba-Nudeln. Ich hab schon mehrere Male Soba-Suppe gemacht, und die schmeckt sehr gut! Allerdings ist das Rezept kein wirklich japanisches... das hab ich einmal probiert, aber dann schmeckte die Suppe zu "fischig" für mich.

Narita one-day-ary is finally ready! (I.e. photo album plus comments.) I think the photos are great (but this possibly apllies only because this was my only visit to Japan - until now). So please take a look and maybe you can help me to explain the meaning of or the other thing on the photos...
Luckily I left with an empty and returned with a full bag of "goodies" from Japan, amongst them several packs of different soba noodles. I've already made soba soup several times and it tastes great! However the recipe is not a true Japanese one... I tried it once, but then the soup tasted too "fishy" for me.
