Sounds Of Champaign ( Side 2 )

Finally a new post here. It's been a while... Due to some technical difficulties i was not able to connect my vinyl turntable to my MIA-Echo 24 soundcard. Now resolved, i think. Feedbacks are welcome about the sound quality. To begin again with vinyl rips, i choose this Gershon Kingsley (Pop Corn father) 7 inch by the easiest way. I found this record 2 years ago on a local flea market.
After googling, i never found any infos about this single.
Typically "Brass & Pop" !

Between easy, lounge & other soft pop sounds that inspired the "Colours Of Funk 1974-79" 2009 compilation by Sonorama (especially the Mr. Marco's Music LP). In fact, the right time to post here again after some brainwashes in the village. So, enjoy the springtime ... with happy records.

R(e)volution inside this 7 inch. A back contest from the french 70’s and a killing joke for each person who understands French ! But not a bad taste of sounds, because there is more music revealed here than that you can suspect … killer breaks & a heavy milky bassline for terribly current words. Then again, a record left from nowhere to land between your two ears ! That was the french post-modern revolution … 33 years ago !

Sorry about Side A, my best take among others, a scratch that i’ve to hide as i can, not easy, sounds like a « hip-hop » reverse at that time ! Not in my intentions, but Side B is safe from meany earlier listen, God Thanks !

Hope you enjoy it, despite the bad vinyl quality !
