kahlua cocoa coffee cheesecake
fish tacos, it sounds like a weird and unnatural combination, but i dig it. the version in cheesecake factory really hits the spot. the fresh soft corn tortillas are pregnant with grilled fish and salad, and worked even better with the accompanying spicy tangy salsa and avocado cream. woo ha.
another order i had was the tex mex eggrolls made from chicken, corn, black beans, peppers, onions and loads of melted cheese. served with more salsa and avocado cream. i could not remember if i liked it or not. if it did not register, it probably meant it was passable. i remembered the buffalo wings better.
finally, it feels almost guilty not ordering a cheesecake with the restaurant named cheesecake factory. the three of us share one. since i was the one ordering, i had only 2 shortlist - anything with peanut butter or with kahlua or baileys or any form of alcohol-spiked milk. so i chose the kahlua cocoa chocolate cheesecake.
two words - f**** sweet. not my slice of cake. not at all.

mr wow wow wee wow is one of the mates i hang out with more often during the stay in united states. he is wise and perceptive, and one good support mate. i know he has a great heart and love his daughter deeply. and darn, i miss those indian lunches with him and the walks around the apartment and to georgetown.

it was a memorable trip as i had the first decent chinese meal since i arrived in the united states. thank god for cantonese migrants, their remarkable roasts, soups and crankiness.

the psychedelic colours at the entrace of cirque du soleil's love beatles. the pschosis streams of luminous blues, greens, yellows and other rainbow hues almost made me wanna run into the side street and purchase a pack of dragon-chaser to liberate my mind from its ostensibly ordinary fetters. of course, to the tunes of the fab four no less.

i popped over to the resident deli at treasure island before mystere. canter's is a los angeles deli that has been in operation since 1930s. judging from the crowd, i don't think it is as popular as carnegie over at mirage.
the menu at canter's boast the same fare of pastrimi and corned beef sandwiches. i opted for a quick hot dog and black cherry dr brown's. the hot dog was served on a nicely toasted bun but i was put off by the tacky packed relish.

i made my way across mgm to hooters casino after watching KA. i was disappointed that the bar did not carry all the sauces for the famed wings. i was looking to order 911 naked. instead i could only order 10 hot breaded wings and a couple of bud light. the fried pickles was also not in the menu.
nonetheless, the "delightfully tacky yet unrefined" location did provide a good after-show meal.
