500,000 people signed up to join the opera community to date. imagine this, the good folks in opera gives 300mb of space to every person who signs up. free. that's 150 million gigabytes of hard disk. free.
i joined the oc because i was after the 300mb. i was cheap. hahaha. one year on after joining, i only used a paltry 25% for my dreary photos. which means i have another 3 years before greed sets in for me to claim another 300mb.
another reason i kept using the oc, server monkeys. i don't really know what they are, but everytime there is a technical glitch, the server monkey appears. who can be mad with primates with bananas, even if you had lost a long post.
5 years from now, when the oc hits 10 million members, i would still the one to hold the moniker offspring.
