Opera Community Pages

are improving day by day... I really like it now. Much much better than MSN spaces IMO. (Actually LiveJournal is quite good, but no free image hosting.)
Just wish that the people visiting my page would leave some comments

There's so much data in this world... Forget the world, just take the blogosphere for example. So much data... So much duplication of news, worthless opinions, Ctrl+C Ctrl+V (oh I know about X Window).

And the title of this post is blublublu.

Sunday and...

, ,

Sunday and I'm all ready to meet my lady. Soon. Soon
Until then, I can just upload some pics, catch up on reddit, and do some work. Can always find some work to be done.

Update: Oh it was a beautiful day...

From the Rubaiyat

Come, fill the Cup, and in the fire of Spring
Your Winter-garment of Repentance fling:
The Bird of Time bas but a little way
To flutter--and the Bird is on the Wing.

For your delight, oh my...

Heard some news that may potentially be very bad.

Oh baby, the sweet just ain't as sweet, without the sour.

Yesterday... my certificate from hp (VMS sysadmin) arrived in the mail, and my application to work at Opera was rejected. :D
Oh well. You win some, you lose some.

Soon I'll be in UK for studies, living with my lady. Some quite drastic changes may come to my life. It's all good and welcome.

Time to stop drifting, and start living again.

Got the WORMs

,

and the system is catching up real fine now... i feel good...

WORMs!!! Paydirt!!! The Real McCoy!!! :D

,

Oh we found some WORM disks  took one we had with us to the shop, and the sales people recognized it :D they have a grand amount of 4 (FOUR) magneto optical, 5.25'', 2.6GB double-sided disks in stock. Will import only on request.
I believe the money will be paid tomorrow, we'll have 'em, and a long standing headache would be 70% over. Out of the 3 WORM drives we have, only one is fully operational. Getting those fixed would be difficult here, I suspect. Might have to ship them to Singapore or whereever. Would be easier to look at another method for archiving the transaction files.
