Yes, I suppose it could *sound* like addiction... however, this time around, I've managed to lose 33.5 pounds and am well on my way to losing another 11. If this is addiction, then my addiction has finally met its nemesis.
Since eating food releases endorphins, it's not uncommon to feel some kind of withdrawal when you cut back on food. However, a true addict would be unable to lose weight and keep it off without going to frequent meetings of Overeater's Anonymous.
