yesterday I had my job interview, they said that by the end of the week they'll inform me of their decision. meanwhile I got a nokia account that comes with a @ovi.com jabber account

Today I officially declined the position in Leiden. Nice city & people there, but don't think that was what I need at this moment...
Also got another interview scheduled for 1st of Octomber in MPI. May be this one would be better.

... until I fly to Brazil. I still have a lot of things to do but somewhere on the way I lost my enthusiasm. Saturday I want to buy the rest of the necessary stuff (like protection gear against mosquitoes), but I've decided that I wouldn't buy another digital camera just to use it for this travel. It's time to revert to the good old film camera,at least so I'll be forced to really develop the pics, not to just dump them on the hard disk.
OK, enough, probably the next entry will be from Sao Carlos.

after more than half a year I'm back in here, so stop shouting...
what else is new? well, I'm still looking for a job. and I'm flying to Brazil for 4 weeks mid-June. of course with my luck it is already winter time in Rio, so I can kiss Ipanema's garotas goodbye. but I hope I'll do some sightseeing and may be post some pictures in here. but until then, the next step is vaccination!
in the mean time, I'm very busy trying to remember the password of my skype account; this shit happens when you get lazy (and old too) and check that little box with "remember my password", so that after 2-3 years you find yourself with a new system and a password than you don't remember (and I mean a new OS from scratch so no way to search for the password in the old OS). the most amazing thing that could have happend, it just did: while registering for skype I entered my first free email address (@netscape.net for the good old folks out there)which of course doesn't exists anymore. or if it does, its existence avoids me at all costs! so combination of 30 by 6 ...
