buttons You have created once You can host at i.e.
to use it on any of your pages without the must of uploading it each time.
same usage is big fun for Your avatars.
makes life easier.
is my favorite button maker by Luca Zappa
you can change the button very easily,
even insert little images - like animated GIFs - on the left and right
by simple upload them into the button maker.
clicking on the create button shows you the actually state of your button.
with a click on save you can save it on your hard disk
or you click on the link "host at image shack".
i just miss the possiblity to uplode an exisiting button
to modify it. but this you can do also with a good graphic program.
but there are many more sites
found on
best blogs on internet
and you can risize your buttons up to 740x144 in 8 steps
this is 160x30:

just another button maker
this is understatement.
you'll find this one on
choose the size of your button
it is easy to create a button, but no upload of a background image
with upload for two background images
and you can host your buttons after creation at same provider
quick and easy
no background images, but easy color selection.
quick and easy, not so strict with the size
some transparent options and 88x13
many fonts
this one is nearly the same like luca zappa
but i didn't see the possibility for inserting images.
