If we had not met an ex-ranger in San Francisco, we would have driven pass the sign without second thought. From the main road, all you see is a couple of trees and dust. It sure is not a big place, but it is cozy in its end of 19th century country side looks. The owner of the local kiosk opened only for us so we could get a coffee...

Not much on Wikipedia and the map. The road looks like the Oregon trail :-)

I stayed in Columbia when visiting Yosemite, resulting in this album.
