An affiliate is a person who agrees to promote a company's product, and in exchange they get a commission for every sale that comes from their marketing. The second way to make money on the internet is to make your own product and create a web page selling this product. This way requires more work then the first, and is more risky because it requires more resources and input on your part. Although this way has more risks, it also has a lot more profit because you are the product maker instead of the advertiser.
The third method of making money online is by allowing ad networks to run ads on your website. This is probably the safest way to make money online. Basically you get paid a few pennies every time someone clicks on the ads on your website. While this sounds like a good deal if your website doesn't already get a large amount of traffic daily this method will generate very little income.
Despite what you might think making money on the internet is possible. If you do your own research you will find some more methods that may or may not be reliable. However, like everything else in the world, you wont make money unless you take action.
