What does pirayago (did I get that right?) mean?

Oh! You can read hiragana?
It is not "pirayago" but "ひしゃご"--"hishago"
I don't know what it means either.

At the time I wrote that it was so so. But now I can. I started to read Japanese at school after last summer. Now I can even read/write katakana, but no kanji yet.

I thought it looked like ぴ.

OH! Sorry!! You are right! That letter really looks like "び" or "ぴ".
Then, that is "Pishago" or "Bishago".............
In either case, I've never heard such word.

That's weird. Maybe it's a name for something? For a fish or something from a story...
