Perhaps I'm missing something simple; when I run the update from version 10 to 10.01, I'm asked for a password to unzip certain files. I've tried all my usual passwords, which don't seem to work. Any suggestions? Is there a master password that I should know about?

I had the same problem as jerome. One was the Opera@USB executable file and I forgot what the other was. I skipped them, but don't know if that makes a difference. I also said no to replacing my bookmark file and various .ini files. Does this affect the update? Because on closing Opera and reopening it and looking under the about menu, I apparently still have 10.00 installed.

The update (updatefile from 10.00 to 10.01) at http://www.opera-usb.com/operausben.htm is a zip file. When unzipped, as instructed, most of the files unzip nicely, but with standardskin.zip, opera.dll, and operausb.exe I get an error message saying that the file already exist. I agree to overwrite it, but then am asked for a password for the above files. When I open opera, I am still in version 10.00.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

go to the "extracted" opera USB folder and once inside, go to the folder named "Profile" copy all the contents of the folder an drag it into the *newer* Opera USB version (so you will replace the new files of the new OperaUSB , with the old files of your previous Opera USB from the folder "profile").
