Firefox Like Toolbar setup- Address bar above tab

Its easy like a breeze to use this toolbar and put address bar above tab bar!
Just download my firefox like toolbar.

Right click on above link and click save target as. Copy this file into the "toolbar" folder of your profile directory (most commonly in win Xp c:\documents&settings>username>application data>opera>profile>Toolbar and in Win Vista C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\Opera). Help>about opera will show you the exact path of opera profile directory.

Open opera, press Tools>Preferences>Advanced>Toolbar> select this firefox like toolbar.

You can also look at "Make opera look like other browsers" topic. Rjk has operafox which is also very nice to make it look like the way you may want. Another good resource is Tamil's blog and look for "tab bar below addressbar". This video tutorial also shows the basic steps to move toolbar contents in opera as used in previously mentioned readyto0use solutions.

No Such directory in vista?

Help>about opera will show you your profile directory. In Vista its under C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\Opera , I guess.

Thank you, Operafan, for your advice and remonstration in the browser forum - I'm getting too senile to concentrate, especially with my lodger blaring out a football (soccer) match on the radio! However, I have found your blog, downloaded and easily (thanks to your clear instructions) installed your Firefox Lookalike toolbar and it's super, thanks so much! I've also saved your user.js collection but they look a bit scary :wink:

the scripts were pretty old. I removed those and kept only two for someone to start with.
