Cloverdale School 1912 and 1933

A few weeks ago at Cloverdale School located in Carol Stream, Illinois, I noticed these two old photos of the school back in 1912 and 1933. Of course at the time, this area, commonly known as "Cloverdale", Illinois is now Bloomindale, Illinois. If you look real close to the 1912 picture, the boy in the front row, right side appears to be wearing a dress of some sort  I think these pictures are really cool. The current Cloverdale School, opened in 2000, and is as modern as can be with about 500+ students.

I love antique photos! Nice job.

This makes me want to be able to jump around in time. It would be fun to be able to tell those kids that their picture would one day zip around the globe in strings of ones and zeros.

If one day you feel like it, it would be fun to smack those pics down on a scanner for a high-res image.

The class of '33, there might still be some of them still around. The class of '12, maybe some of their children.

It's interesting to think about these things. To me it brings perspective.

I totally agree with Dave.

When those guys went to school, they probably did not even immagine that one day, some random person halfway across the globe would be *able* to see their class photo.
