#OperaMeetUp in Pune

, , ,

Lovely people, enthusiastic atmosphere, lots of ideas shared and ofcourse there was a lovely cake to top it up.

Our University Tours program led us to the city of Pune for the very first time. In "The Oxford of the East" as it's lovingly called- we were sure to find some opera enthusiasts to interact with.

The objective of the users-meetup was to get a first hand knowledge of user perception of Opera products. The lively discussions about features and user-experience turned out to be the bonus outcome of this meetup. Our users were also quick to come up with feature wishlist and improvement suggestions.

Saurya from TheTossedSalad.com was the first one to come to the venue. Apart from contributing to the aforementioed blog, he also turned out to be my super-junior from Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication. We didn't need any more reason to bond beyond that.

Next in were some similar faces from Symbiosis Institute of Computer Science and Research. We were in their college the day before for University Tour seminar. See them in the pic below. They are pursuing MBA -IT and I was happy to know their interest in Opera and it's technology.

Then there were some professionals, entrepreneurs and freelancers. See pic below.

N last but not the least I give you three budding darlings from VIIT. This team is working together to build a mobile app for the android platfom. As Shwetank would describe, one of them is a power-user of Opera on desktop too.
