Care for a stretched or cropped image anyone?

We made a server upgrade yesterday. The much requested "zoom image"
for downloads is finally here! There is quite a bit of work behind
this update, but the list of user visible changes isn't that big as
can been seen in the changelog:

  • Added "zoom image" option to image download page. It let's you
stretch or crop an image to fit the size of your screen before
downloading it. (Similar to the functionality in Opera Mini 3.)

  • Fixed several problems with clicking on links and <button>:s. This
fixes problems with among other sites Yahoo Mail and Betfair.

Server upgrade, with a little help from our friendsNew beta coming your way

this is somewhat unrelated to the topic, but it seems my.opera's RSS feeds don't escape the <, so <button> shows up in the feed like an actual button  (i'm using Opera's feed reader)

What about ownership rights and copyrights over the images that Opera now edits for their users?

With the new server upgrade on Feb 22, 2008 all pictures I view on Opera mini (like on Flickr) are messed up. They are split down the middle no matter what setting I use while viewing.

@Aleksandersen: Opera doesn't edit them. The user does.

I Suggest Smaller Url Links. Also When Zooming An Animated Or Cropped Picture That It Stay Animated Not Be A Still Picture. I'd Like To See A Copy And Paste Feature In Opera Mini.

@santhoshnarra: just position the mouse over an image, then press the context menu button (1), select "open image", then you should have an option to save the image to your phone.
