By Per Thomas Jahr. Wednesday, 21. February 2007, 13:16:02
I'm pleased to announce that we now have a shiny new release of Opera Mini. This time around we have focused on fixing as many bugs as possible (see changelog below). Better connectivity and support for additional devices will enable more users to enjoy Opera Mini. The only new feature added, is the possibility to better manage your feeds.
A big thanks to everyone in the Opera Mini team - fantastic work! And of course a big thanks to all our users. The feedback you give through the forum and bug reports are very valuable for us - something I hope that this release will show.

I was happy with 2.0 and joyous with 3.0, and the early test on my Palm Treo 650 (GSM - WAP) handset seems to be fine.
Automatic rebooting in OM was a problem, on occasion, but I thought it could be a conflict with PrintBoy, Blazer (the default) and/or PdaNet, which I use - with the Treo as a modem - to get on line. It was never a problem with my 'phone, however.
Keep up the good work!

I have a big problem: at one point after a new install opera mini 2(midp2) stopped working(I have a philips 362).
opera mini 3 never worked(it installs but won't boot), so I found a older version of mini 2 and it works again.
thing is I don't understand why it stopped working and I want opera mini 3...
I thought my phone is not supported but I see it should be now - it still says philips 362 does not have java when i go to operamini.com...
I just tried 3.1 and it does not boot either.
can you please give me a hand here?

(-)
1) After ~two hours of surfing.. <<error: out of memory>> (Nokia 6600) and as consequence very slow connection..
2) Yahoo search 0/10
Google search 9,5/10
3) Hopes that in the next version we find a new look (I love 'snow'!)
4) Advice: When you click at a link/address don't press the joystick in left/right because when you do it and the new page appears at the same time -->
(+)
1) Now I can upload more than one photo in a blog post without writing their addresses.
Thank you

as i'm actually working for the provider company itself, i'm very sure that the settings are fine and i have the access to GPRS as i've went through the systems in our network server, plus there's no problem with using 6233's built-in xHTML browser to access the internet.
as extra precaution, i have tried opera mini 3.0 & 3.1 on my Nokia 6230, 6230i and it works fine, as well as a few other models. apparently it only happens to nokia 6233 (i installed both ver. 3.0 & 3.1). Thus i can safely conclude that the problem lies with Opera Mini itself.
any help? posted this in the forum as well

Google has paid search results.
But why are you spamming people's blogs with your inane drivel? Stop posting the same thing over and over again. It's clearly against the rules.

Tekg, it's not like we are blocking Google. Just go to google, add a bookmark and select that it should show up on the start page. Then all you have to do to make a google search is press [*][4] (or what speed dial number the bookmark gets) to open a google search page.
