Amato's scouting trip to the last bits of Oxfam trailwalker trail turned out to be rough.

Course : Cp7 (79.5km) -> cp8 (93km) -> finish (100km) : 20.5km
Time : 5 hr 45 min
Difficulty : 150% (CP7-CP8), 140% (CP8-finish) based on the prep1(100%) and prep2(70%)

Trail elevation : over 1300m

Went to Oxfam Japan office near Ueno st. to pick up the printed version of trail mapbooks. Checklist for items to carry on the mapbook is long and thorough, 42 items for walkers including "Bear bell or mobile radio to avoid animal"

. We would need strong shoulders, too.

But, want to carry as little as possible to survive up-and-downs.
