Now Matt, the spam mails you are getting are usually no to be taken lightly.
It could fraud waiting to happen right under your nose.
Too many young pple are such computer savvy experts and usually, they ore no on to read.
They are either gaming, downloading music videos, chatting, blogging, program tapping, or practicing internet fraud to cash big on some unsuspecting person.
Sadly they do get away with it some of the time.
They are intelligent enough to re-create a website if they need too, work out links to prove you are in a safe zone and try to get bank details or make pay for so and so ... whatever as long as you end up leaking cash.
They are all over the world, not just china.
The age range spans from 14 to 28 - 35 (Later consider themselves more seasoned)
Actually, some neva stop till they get caught.
They don't start out being mean ... just adventurous.
The next time you get this type of mail, try what i do:
Reply with a stern verbal trashing and copy national/state security contact emails in the trashing reply as well as the impersonated company's or website's email contact for them to take note.
Insist you will be tracing this fraudulent mail to support the i.e. police to the point they'll need to tragically disappear.
In Nigeria, The super security word is EFCC: Economic and Financial Crimes Commission
Even the Pro's back off a bit with this.
