About me

This 'about me' bit is supposed to be where I write about myself - who I am, what I do, what I'm like etc. Apparently omitting an author bio from a blog is The number one usability mistake for a weblog according to Jakub Nielson.

I think this is a load of rubbish myself. So here's why I'm not going to write about me:

Who I am does not make whatever I write here more or less intelligent, valid, credible, entertaining or thought provoking. "Because I say so" is not a valid argument. Anyone who lists their credentials before delivering their message probably has an ulterior motive or feels that their message is not strong enough to stand on its own.

This is Just Another Blog(tm) I write because I like writing, not because I need millions of people to read it & tell me how great & funny I am. I don't claim to be an expert on any of the subjects I write, I just write about what I know. Every post is offered as is. A collection of words, nothing more. They may mean something to you, they may not.

That said, I'm right & everyone else is wrong because I say so.
