the United States of SVG

You can now test your knowledge of the United States of America!
This new page uses the exact same code that I used for the world countries page detailed in my last post. All I've done is change the data, the code for choosing random states, highlighting, keeping score etc. is pretty much identical.
Update 21/01/2007:
Thanks to help from Jeff we are now fully functional in IE+ASV as well!
We also have a much smaller Compressed svgz file of the game as well.

Problems are as follows:
1) I can't select Texas in Safari, it neither highlights nor accepts clicks. Looking at the source code I don't see a problem, perhaps it's a bug in Safari, however since everything else works I assumed there was a typo in the SVG. I doubt it's some kind of overflow since Michigan works and has more points in its path.
2) I noticed Colorado doesn't close up it's path with a z (and it's first and last points don't match).
3) You are not setting the Transfer-Encoding of the svgz, so it doesn't get decoded, and the browser tries to handle "#!E

2) Fixed.
3) This is an issue with the MyOpera community & is not something I can fix myself. I did post a message about this in the forums a while back & I belive it's on the todo list.
