Whatever it takes is an article from The New Yorker Magazine about the use of torture in 24.
I absolutely love the film Dark City which stars Keifer Sutherland so it is strange how I've never seen a single episode of 24. If 24 features torture in the way that this article suggests I don't think I will.

Hot Fuzz, film, Comedy, Bill Bailey
...
Hot Fuzz is fantastic.
See it now.
I'm not sure if you have to be British to really appreciate the film, but if that is the case then you need to become British immediately.
Nix & I went to the opening night last night. I know that it is a British film (Brit films often don't get half the billing they deserve here in the UK) but I couldn't believe that the cinema thought it was only worthy of screen 4. The whole foyer was packed long before the film started so I don't think they'll make the same mistake tonight.
British comic legend Bill Bailey appearing on screen with neat hair caused audible surprise from most of the audience (us true Bill Bailey fans though have previously experienced Clive Pocock).

lord of the rings, film
How many endings did that film have? & what book was it based on? Still a very good film.
No spoilers from me
