Me: I went to see War of the worlds last night.
Him: Me too! What did you think of it?
Me: Pretty enjoyable. Very impressive special effects & the tripods were very well done. Although I'm pretty sure that if one of them actually came out of the ground I think that there would be a lot more people running & a lot less people standing & watching. Not going to make anyway believe that the world really is under attack this time round though. What did you think?
Him: I just thought it was a rip-off of Independance Day.
Me: *looks for something to hit him with*

Me: Did you ever read HG Wells?
Her: Well, not actually.
Me: It ended just like the Well's novel did. What about the 1954 version? Did you see that?
Her: Well, no.
Me: Then, be quiet. I thought it was really great. Well, done. Very suspenseful.
